VVMPYRE The unique clash and artistic craft of Sapphira Vee’s brand of darkness is always a treat to hear. Sapphira’s vocals shine more than ever, and used the opportunity to work with Chris Connelly on “The Unknowing Muse” to create one of the best tracks to his name. The remixes are there, but generally speaking, this is a good place to give Sapphira Vee a try. Favorite track: The Unknowing Muse (ft. Chris Connelly).

Necessary Pull me down and under Feel the weight some crashing down Well it won't be much longer now until we have it all figured So don't ask me no questions and I won’t tell you no lies and your secrets I won't ever tell But when i said run you were second guessin when you should have run to save yourself This is necessary and I'm sorry but there’s no other way and there's nothing more that we have to say every day apart is gonna be hell it’s a shame you did this to yourself and as the years pass by like days just over the shoulder rivers and oceans of tears leave a barren wasteland and all thoughts and fears were only illusions after a lifetime I'm finally seeing that you were never enough for me Tell me now or never while the hands of time are winding out though it won't be much longer now I have a feeling it’s the final countdown (10....1) so don't ask what you don't want to know and you can hide behind the pieces of your shattered ego but when I said run you were second guessin when you should have run to save yourself This is necessary and I'm sorry but there's no other way and there's nothing more that we have to say every day apart is gonna be hell It’s a shame you did this to yourself and as the years pass by like days just over the shoulder rivers and oceans of tears leave a barren wasteland and all thoughts and fears were only illusions after a lifetime I'm finally seeing that you were never enough for me

The Heart Wants Love Desire Love Rejected Every time I see you Every time we touch A pulse just hits me Why does it mean so much Young love is rough Is it right or it is wrong? We learn from our mistakes But it takes too long The heart wants What the heat wants The heart knows what the brain wants The heart wants what the heart wants I thought I knew my self once The heart wants What the heat wants The heart knows what the brain wants The heart wants what the heart wants I thought I knew I thought I knew The heart wants What the heat wants The heart wants What the heat wants Is it right or it is wrong? We learn from our mistakes But it takes too long The heart wants What the heart wants The heart knows what the brain wants The heart wants what the heart wants I thought I knew my self once The heart wants What the heart wants The heart knows what the brain wants The heart wants what the heart wants I thought I knew I thought I knew

Unknowing Muse He took my hand and we filled the canvas Brush stroking furiously dipped the brush on a dripping palette Then through his eyes I could see Took me to where I had been before But seeing things I'd never seen Whisper in my ear What you want to hear Let the universe choose Whisper in my ear What they want to hear My unknowing muse My unknowing muse (repeated) When you feel the paint drip off the brush Not just standing there but hidden there the unknown muse you can't refuse Escape through the doorway To spill upon your page Ghost shadow presence or recluse Whisper in my ear What you want to hear Let the universe choose Whisper in my ear What they want to hear My unknowing muse We're all just paint upon the brush Ba ba ba da ba ba da

about

Why did we "Duet"??

"Unknowing Muse" was, in fact, inspired by Chris Connelly himself.

After listening to his album "Graveyard Sex" and having an in depth discussion with him about it, I began to write this song as a solo track, but quickly realized what was missing. I was honored when he, the very muse who whispered this tune in my ear, agreed to complete this song with his magic ... hence laying down the foundation for "Duet".

Mike Reidy and I had already spoken about collaborating when I wrote "Necessary" for a man's voice, so I was excited to send it along to him.

When I received the track back with his vocals and guitar, it was clear to me that it had been transformed into exactly the track I had hoped, with fire, with intention, a truly fierce duet.

And finally, I was so pleased when Jim Semonik agreed to complete "The Heart Wants" with me because I knew from the beginning that I wanted to hear some gorgeous gritty vocals on top of the music I had written.

And gritty vocals I got, along with an incredible chemistry that goes far beyond a simple duet, one that I sincerely hope will continue. This is a "straight from the gut" track with lyrics written and delivered in a way that only Jim Semonik can offer up.
